Resulting from the partnership between renowned boat builder Jeanneau and Briand Yacht Design, the Sun Odyssey 440, a 44-feet sailing boat, will be unveiled this coming September in Cannes. This vessel was designed according to three fundamental requirements: mobility within the sailing boat, a comfortable interior and, most importantly, efficient navigability.
In addition to technical and technological advances, the Sun Odyssey 440, measuring 12.64 metres long, boasts functional and elegant interiors, and other features and resources that will only be revealed at the time of its presentation.
With its world unveiling planned for the Cannes Yachting Festival, in September 2017, the new Sun Odyssey 440, a 44-feet sailing boat from French builder Jeanneau, is designed by Philippe Briand, who has endowed it with truly innovative details. This new boat represents a landmark for Jeanneau, seeing as the brand celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
The many technical and technological advances of the Sun Odyssey 440, such as secure helm stations, twin rudders, retractable bow thrusters, among others, aim to improve the quality of life at sea. The interior layout has also being designed to make life aboard more comfortable, as much for the owner as for guests. The master cabin is of particularly generous proportions, a feature rarely seen in a boat of this size. In the cockpit area, a dining room, with foldable table, offers a cosy space, as well as having a portable fridge and grill at your disposal, hidden in a unit, which can be taken on excursions on land.
The Sun Odyssey 440 has a Yanmar 45 Hp / 33 kW engine.
