Perched on the snow-covered mountains above the sparkling blue of Lake Geneva, the Evian Resort enjoys stunning views, either of the lake, which bathes areas of both France and Switzerland, or of the mountains, which proclaim the start of the French Alps. Here, in addition to your 5-star stay, golf is the king of sports, although the resort also offers skiing, climbing, paragliding, hiking, rafting and also horse riding or helicopter rides. In the Evian spas, treatments aim towards total relaxation, ensuring that the mind only recalls the calm waters of the lake and the pastoral charm of the Alpine mountains.

Located in the French spa town of Evian-les-Bains, and formed by the Ermitage and Royal hotels, the Evian Resort offers guests sumptuous facilities, with large, finely-decorated lounges, carefully-furnished rooms and breathtaking views, in addition to an intense and varied programme of leisure and sports activities. The Hotel Royal Evian, opened in 1909, has recently undergone major renovations. The project was entrusted to interior designer François Champsaur and to architect François Chatillon, who combined the historic legacy with the latest trends in contemporary design. They have recovered the hotel’s prestigious past, when its guests included Marcel Proust or members of royalty.

Five restaurants and six bars are part of the resort, as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a jacuzzi boasting fountains from which the purest mineral water of Evian flows and a children’s club. Famous around the globe for its golf course and for the Evian Source and Quatre Terres spas, the resort continues to enchant and to advocate the purest art de vivre, with the lake and Mont Blanc on the horizon.
