Afrikanizm Art

Art as a form of expression. Art without borders. Art without limits. A place where creativity reigns supreme. This is the universe that Afrikanizm Art has been creating together with Face Studio. The motto is to provide exclusive experiences through exhibitions of contemporary art from local. They inspire and showcase African visual artists, who use their work to celebrate African identity, culture and resilience. Each piece, a story. 
As an audiovisual and events producer, Face Studio has been bringing various narratives to life. Likewise, the aim of this partnership was to connect the two worlds: contemporary art and audiovisual production. As a result, they have created unique exhibitions that portray the essence of African culture. The outcome of this union is work in which the old and the new harmonise to form a creative expression that speaks to both the present and the future.

Three major exhibitions are planned for 2024

Each intersection brings with it the richness of the artists’ experiences and identities, as well as their creativity. There are no limits to expression. This is where ideas flourish. Here, artists are inspired by and learn from each other. The result is vibrant and diverse, challenges stereotypes and expresses art and culture.
The 2nd edition of the Intersections Exhibition took place at the Marina Baía - Luanda Yacht Club and was a great success. Various artistic mediums were portrayed, such as sculpture, using modern and recycled materials; and photography, which captures female beauty and sensuality and explores themes such as democracy and identity. Each work of art is an insight into the history of Angola and its people. 
This project by Afrikanizm Art, in partnership with Face Studio, has much more to reveal. Three major exhibitions are planned for 2024. Stay tuned, because boundaries are expanding here, fanning the winds of contemporary African art all over the world.
