Angolan oil company Sonangol has announced that it has signed an agreement with German companies Conjucta GmbH and Gauff GmbH & Co. Engineering Kg to set up a green hydrogen production plant in Angola. According to the state oil company, work is already underway by means of its Research and Development Centre, in particular conceptual and engineering studies, to «identify the location for setting up the plant». The creation of the plant to produce compost and its by-products, for domestic consumption and export, is part of the company’s energy transition strategy, in the search for renewable energy resources.
