Paddy Cosgrave’s team has chosen Rio de Janeiro as the destination for the biggest conference on technology, entrepreneurship and innovation. Brazil, the sleeping giant, will vibrate May 01 - 04 next year, promising hot start-ups and technology on fire. The 2023 edition will go down in history as it will be the first time that the event will be held outside Europe. Rio’s rise to international prominence has been in the Web Summit’s sights, just as Brazil has been eyeing the event, having been one of the five countries with the most attendees at the 2021 edition in Lisbon. Nevertheless, Portugal remains the host country for the main event. With less than a year to go before we meet the next top business leaders and investors, it’s time to start thinking about a futuristic outfit, to match the technology and innovation that will come together to show the future of the planet to the world.
