A living room on wheels was one of the main innovations to have caused a stir at the Consumer Electronic Show 2022. The Cadillac InnerSpace Concept is a prototype that unites technology and comfort, enabling journeys that save time and prevent driver exhaustion. General Motors has designed a luxurious model, with panoramic glass on the roof for nights with starry skies and doors that open to make it more comfortable and spacious when leaving the vehicle. The seats can swivel round and pivot outwards when the doors are open, making it even more convenient to get out and in. The role of electrification and autonomous driving is the key factor in the whole operation of the model, combined with Artificial Intelligence. With a closed grille at the front, with integrated LED lighting, the car incorporates vertical headlights, tyres with SoundComfort and SightLine technologies, which tell the driver the temperature, pressure, load and other performance factors, digital side mirrors and giant wheels, with aerodynamic function. The range of this ‘spaceship’, among other technical characteristics, is yet to be divulged. All that remains is to give free rein to creativity and start to think about the perfect date inside an electric beast, which won’t accept the thought of being tamed.
